Hey! It’s Monday in America, daylight saving time has started, and this is my favorite moment from Dune —
Anyway, here are FIVE JOKES!
Donate to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, The Carter Center, and/or Alliance for Middle East Peace.
Y’all hear about this?..
Scientists have succeeded in making light behave like a "supersolid" for the first time. For those unaware, “supersolid” is science speak for “I’m in over my head and just making up words to sound smart.”
Opponents fighting DOGE in court have been pinning their hopes of stopping the world’s richest man on a 50-year-old law. Guess that explains what’s taking so long. The law is still getting up from its recliner.
D.C.'s Black Lives Matter mural will be erased. Related: There are many reports of Aunt Jemima slowly returning onto syrup bottle labels. Right now it’s just the tip of her hair and a sliver of an eyeball.
Many of the discs produced by Warner Brothers Home Entertainment between 2006 and 2008 are failing prematurely. While the company is offering replacements, it maintains that customers should at least try inserting the discs in a new position first.
Finally…
Mark Carney, a former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, won the Liberal Party leadership election and will replace Justin Trudeau as Canada’s prime minister. With a resume like that during these counter-tariff wars, America should really be worried about overdraft fees.
