Hey! It’s Monday in America, The Independent Spirit Awards are a good time —
— and here are FIVE JOKES!
Donate to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, The Carter Center, and/or Alliance for Middle East Peace.
Y’all hear about this?..
New York City’s egg shortage has led to wildly varying prices, long lines and even rationing at some stores. When asked about resolving the issues, Mayor Adams seemed to touched an earpiece and repeat, “We’re looking into all kinds of eggs, turtles eggs… platypus eggs… there are many fine eggs on both sides.”
A former Soviet intelligence officer has alleged that Donald Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987 and given the codename “Krasnov.” Which is, of course, only the first portion of a full codename ending with “The Clown.”
A jumping lunar robot is about to explore a pitch-black moon crater for the first time. Related: It’s also the first lunar robot to light a cigarette and whistle “Lovin' You” by Minnie Riperton after a mission.
Silicon Valley is going all in on humanoid robots, but making them a reality will take decades. ← This sentence also works if you replace “humanoid robots” with “girlfriends.”
Finally…
All seven of Earth’s planetary neighbors will be visible at dusk this week. And per the rules of all block parties, at least two of them will get into a fight.
