Hey! It’s Monday in America, this is —
— and here are FIVE JOKES!
Donate to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, The Carter Center, and/or Alliance for Middle East Peace.
Y’all hear about this?..
The White House Correspondents' dinner (which, by the way, president Donald Trump won’t attend) canceled comedian Amber Ruffin's appearance — meaning this week, Seth Meyers will deliver the first edition of Jokes Amber Can’t Tell… At The White House Correspondents’ Dinner. In Amber’s place at the event, journalists will enjoy the musical stylings of Munch's Make Believe Band.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences issued a statement to its members on Friday apologizing for not adequately expressing its support of the Palestinian Oscar-winning filmmaker Hamdan Ballal. However, phrasing the apology with — “I’m sorry if emailing the emoji ‘💭 & 🙏’ over an image of the Sbarro pizza flag instead of typing the actual words “thoughts and prayers”… or your name… or the title of your film, came off as insensitive. Anyway, how about that Roman Polanski, am I right?!” — doesn’t real help.
President Trump did not rule out the possibility of seeking a third term in the White House, which is prohibited by the Constitution under the 22nd Amendment, saying in an exclusive interview with NBC News that there were methods for doing so and clarifying that he was “not joking.” But don’t worry, just to be sure, we’ll ask him five more clarifying questions after the commercial break.
From Seattle to Miami, anti-Musk protesters gathered at hundreds of Tesla locations over the weekend. A tough time for the company, as protestors have more valid points than the average Cybertruck.
Finally…
Elon Musk sold the social media site X to his own xAI artificial intelligence company in a $33 billion all-stock deal. Unfortunately, his mother walked in on him doing it.
