• Apple is facing backlash for its 'destructive' iPad commercial featuring a machine crushing books and instruments.

  If the controversy builds, Apple’s PR team will have Tim Cook to repeat the same two things things:

  • “This was uploaded by mistake.”

    And…

  • “I have a very particular set of kinks.

• A Disney, Hulu, and Max streaming bundle is on the way. So, be prepared for a few surprising glitches.

  

• TikTok to start labeling AI-generated content as technology becomes more universal — which is a shock for me, because I was under the impression that everything on the app is computer generated. You’re telling me actual people are doing this stuff?!

• Neuralink encountered a problem with the implant in its first human patient that reduced the amount of data it could capture from his brain — that’s right… the brain-chip only downloaded half a boob.

Finally…

• A New York Times reporter created more than a dozen A.I. “friends,” named them, chose realistic A.I.-generated pictures of them, gave them fictitious back stories, and then talked to them every day — sharing gossip from his life, discussing the news, and even asking them for advice. Hopefully that’ll stop you from ever asking a journalist "Wutcha workin’ on?” again.
