90-year-old star bassist Carol Kaye is rejecting her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honor. To be fair, the honor’s timing is way off tempo.
The University of Florida has awarded a student for their paper arguing that the constitution is only for white people. The student would’ve actually accepted the award were it not for the crippling fear derived from their follow up paper, “The Floor Is Lava Now.”
The UK government wants to make it easier for legacy broadcasters to consolidate and partner up. The pressure has less to do with the companies, and more to do with the all-watching entity who birthed them: Big Mother.
Tesla finally launched its hotly anticipated robotaxi service in Austin, Texas — but it should be noted that the vehicles will include Tesla-employed “safety monitors” in the front passenger seat. So if you’re wondering what that awkward feeling after stepping into one is, it’s specifically of the “chaparoned prom date” variety.
Finally…
The massive tax and spending cuts package that President Donald Trump wants on his desk by July 4 would loosen regulations on gun silencers and certain types of rifles and shotguns. And this Legal Use of Intensive Guns Initiative so to speak… unfortunately spells out Luigi. In fact, Democrats should be called it the Luigi Bill, just to see how their colleagues react on the other side.
