The Mona Lisa’s New Room, Kennedy Family In-fighting, LinkedIn’s A.I. Profile Crackdown, iPhone SpaceX Coverage, and The Doomsday Clock

Hey! It’s Wednesday in America, the year of the snake has begun, and, unfortunately, the public release of the latest You Are The Genre episode has been delayed until tomorrow due to me doing too damn much. But, hey, please don’t be too —
— because, considering we’re only a month into an already massively unstable year, things have been running surprisingly smooth here in newsletter land overall.
So, without further ado, here’s a quick —
— and here are FIVE JOKES!

Y’all hear about this?..
The Mona Lisa is getting a room of its own as the Louvre undergoes major renovation — and while most of the other art pieces seem fine about it on the outside, their group chat reveals something else:
Caroline Kennedy wrote a scathing letter to senators, calling her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a “predator” addicted to attention. Guess we know who won’t be invited to carve the Thanksgiving bear this year…
LinkedIn has removed at least two accounts that were created for AI “co-workers” whose profile images said they were “#OpenToWork.” Hopefully this pushes the company to only allow humans on LinkedIn who are capable of experiencing the pain and embarrassment of being humans on LinkedIn.
iPhone devices are now eligible to test SpaceX-owned Starlink's direct-to-cell capability that provides coverage from space. Apple is promoting this capability with the new slogan “Don’t Worry, We’ve Made Sure Your Nudes Don’t Have A Direct Line To Elon Musk”
Finally…
The Doomsday Clock, established in 1947 by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists to signify how close the world is to global catastrophe, is now 89 seconds to midnight, the closest it’s ever been. And just like that, our only hope as a species is atomic daylight savings. “It’s an hour BACK this time, right?.. Right?!”
