Ron DeSantis was welcomed by shouts of “You're not welcome here!” and booed into silence at a vigil for Jacksonville shooting victims. The moment is said to have triggered DeSantis’ PTSD from the mid-90s, when he failed to wow an Apollo crowd with his a cappella rendition of “Good Vibrations” on Martin Luther King Day.
Engineers and scientists plan on using AI to talk to whales. So, let’s hope whales don’t have caller ID.
NASA released the first U.S. pollution map images from a new instrument launched to space. And I’m not sure why, but the map results are making me hungry.
Can we zoom out a bit and see how it looks for the whole globe?
A Georgia school district canceled an author’s talks after he said ‘gay.’ The author has since agreed to meet the district in the middle by saying “sexually or romantically attracted to people of one's own sex” instead.
Finally…
A TV news crew was robbed at gunpoint while filming a story on robberies. Luckily, everyone is okay… and eager to see what happens when they film a story about lottery winners.
