An AI quadcopter has beaten human champions at drone racing. When the A.I. drone was asked about plans for celebrating the win, it shouted, “I’m attacking Disneyland!”
The MAX streaming service might be adding CNN alerts to movies and shows. Many are complaining, but I personally applaud MAX for developing a feature that can make The Newsroom enjoyable to watch.
A 100-year-old oak tree fell on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' mansion in wake of Hurricane Idalia. DeSantis will reportedly propose the nation’s first “Anti-Ent” laws early next week. “Trees shouldn’t have beards. It’s against God! And don’t even get me started on Entmoot brunches!!”
Mitch McConnell appeared to freeze again yesterday while speaking to media in Kentucky. In response to growing concerns, Republicans leadership claimed that McConnell keeps freezing “…because one of the reporters is his crush.”
Finally…
Flight attendants at American Airlines have voted overwhelmingly to authorize their union to call a strike against the carrier. No word yet if the airline would honor the potential strike, or attempt replacing human attendants with A.I. quadcopters.
